The world as we know today is more “global” than ever before. In this increasingly homogenous backdrop of seamless liberalization, the seismic upheavals in the world‟s political and economic milieu have gained equal traction. The past few years alone have witnessed such enormous activity in the International Law province that forte disciplines like cyber and air and space law have attained full significance. The emerging domains of maritime law, non-state actors, humanitarian law, have become even more relevant. In this piercingly provocative time of rapid changes, the International Law Society at Hidayatullah National Law University perceives an unalloyed opportunity for young scholars and students to participate at the National Level in an essay competition on pertinent aspects of International Law. We seek to encourage students to undertake stimulating independent research while maintaining detail and academic rigor.
