The Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh is fortunate enough to organize the Sir Syed National Moot Court Competition (SSNMCC) for the session 2014-15.
The 1st Sir Syed National Moot Court Competition (SSNMCC) 2014-15 shall be held on March 28th and 29th, 2015 at the Deptartment of Law, Qila Road, AMU, Aligarh.
This is the first time in the history of Faculty of Law that such a national event like Moot Court Competition is being organized in the name of Sir Syed who was great visionary, social reformer and one of the architects of modern India.
He was one of those early pioneers who recognized the critical role of education in the empowerment of the poor and backward community particularly Muslims.
Memorials:
The last date for submitting the Memorials for both the side in soft copy as well as hard copy is 10th March, 2015. No amendments/ improvements shall be made subsequent to the referred submission. The Memorials shall be sent via e-mail to [email protected] The Soft Copy should be sent in Microsoft Office Word 2003/2007 Format only. [.doc or .docx] Attachments should be titled as for Petitioner side and as for Respondent side. e.g. PET.11 and RES.22. Six copies each of the memorials for Petitioner & Respondent (excluding copies for use by the team) should be carried by the teams at the time of Registration for the Oral rounds
Registration:
Teams must confirm their participation either by sending a scanned copy or by speed post of the ‘Registration Form’ (annexed herewith) completely filled and duly signed by the Head of the participating Institution.
Scanned copy must be sent to [email protected] and speed post must be send to Chairman, Deptt. Of Law, A.M.U, Qila Road, Aligarh (UP)-202002 latest by 28th February 2015.
In case of any changes in the team composition, in terms of the members, the same must be officially conveyed earlier to the Organizers .
Registration Fee:
The participating teams shall be required to pay the registration fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one Thousand Only) on the first day of the competition between 9:00 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Department of Law itself i.e. the venue of the Moot Court Competition.
