ABOUT: We are glad to inform you that GNLU-GUJCOST, in association with GNLU Centre for Intellectual Property Right, is conducting an essay competition on contemporary and emerging issues in the field of intellectual property rights.
THEME:
The theme for the competition is: Digital Divide-Culture Reimagined. The said theme has been adopted by WIPO on the occasion of World Intellectual Property Day, as celebrated on April 26 every year.
ELIGIBILITY: The competition is open for all the LLB and LLM students .
TOPICS FOR THE ESSAY:
1. Space Technology and IPR.
2. Commercialization of nanotechnology and its related IPR issues.
3. Protection of Traditional Knowledge and IPR.
4. IPR Issues Related to Digital Libraries and Art Galleries.
The winning entries shall be awarded with cash prizes and certificates.
DEADLINE: The last date for the submission of the essays is May 15th, 2016 by 11.59 P.M.
