in relief to the Centre, a division bench of the Uttarakhand high court effectively put on hold the controversial floor test scheduled for Thursday to test Harish Rawat’s government majority till April 7th.
A two-judge bench of High Court directed that order of a single-bench allowing the floor test be dismissed.
Although the Centre had appealed for the dismissal of the single bench order, the counsel of former CM Harish Rawat also agreed to it that the floor test be kept in abeyance.
The case will be heard from April 6th.
