The Urdu University, which the TD government has promised to set up in Kadapa, is being shifted to Kurnool attracting the ire of the Muslim community of Kadapa.
However, a major faux has arisen as the Andra Pradesh assembly passed bill for a proposed Urdu University in Kurnool, naming it after Moulvi Abdul Haq while it was supposed to be named after Dr. Abdul Haq.
State human resource minister had introduced Moulvi Abdul Haq Urdu University Bill,2016.
Admitting his mistake he affirmed that the University will be named after Dr.Abdul Haq as promised by the government.
Moulvi Abdul Haq is known for his Urdu competition and Dr. Abdul Haq who was the founder of Osmania College in Karnool.
