Prez advice over judicial activism

President Pranab Mukherjee cautioned against judicial activism saying it should not lead to dilution of the separation of powers.
“Each organ of our democracy must function within it’s own sphere and must function within it’s own sphere and must not take over what is assigned to others. The balance of power between the three organs of the state is enshrined in our Constitution. The Constitution is supreme”, he said.
