SC rejects plea to extend term of the SEBI chief

The SC dismissed another petition challenging UK Sinha’s re-appointment as chairperson of market regulator SEBI.
The bench had proposed to withdraw the case and move to Bombay HC but the counsel preferred arguing. After hearing the case, the court dismissed petition refusing permission to withdraw it.
