SHREE GURU GOBIND SINGH TRICENTENARY (SGT) university is organising the National Moot Court Competition during March 13-16, 2015. Moot court competition scheduled to be held at SGT University, Gurgaon, Delhi-NCR.
Eligibility Criteria:
Students of 5 year integrated law degree programme studying in Colleges/Universities, approved by the Bar Council of India, are eligible to participate in the SGTU-NMCC. 3.2
Only one team from a particular College /University can participate in the SGTU-NMCC
Written Submissions/ Memorial:
All participating teams shall submit 4 sets of written memorials for each side (4 for petitioners & 4 for respondents). The cover page of memorials for the petitioner shall be in blue and of the respondent shall be in red. The teams shall not indicate their names or the names of their college or the university on memorials.
All participating teams must submit soft copies of their memorials in PDF format, for both sides by 11:59 P.M., IST th on 5 March 2015 by e-mailing the same to [email protected]
Teams must also get the hard copies of the memorials (4 sets for the petitioner and 4 sets for respondent) on 13 March 2015. Each Memorial shall not exceed 35 pages in all. Arguments shall not exceed 25 pages.
Registration
The participating team shall duly fill the Registration Form provided along with the official rules and send it along with a participation fee of Rs. 3,000/- (Rupees three thousand only) on or before 5th February, 2015.
The Registration fee shall be sent through Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University” payable at New Delhi.
The filled-in Registration Form and the DD are to be sent to the following address by 5th February, 2015: Prof. S.Shanthakumar Dean, Faculty of Law, SGT University Gurgaon-Badli Road, Gurgaon (Haryana) – 122505.
Scanned copies of the filled in Registration forms along with the scanned copy of the Demand th Draft may be sent to [email protected] on or before 5 February, 2015.
Only first 24 teams will be considered for participating in SGTUN-MCC on ‘first come first served’ basis.
