GNLU International Maritime Academy from 28 February to 7 March 2015

GNLU has immense pleasure in announcing the launching of the International Maritime Academy from 28 February to 7 March 2015 in collaboration with National Maritime Foundation, New Delhi.
Maritime Law is a complex area of law that involves multiple jurisdictions and diversified issues and an adequate response to such situations require a deep understanding of the subject. The Academy will discuss the contemporary and advance Maritime issues and practices and disseminate information pertaining to maritime law and Law of the Sea in an intensive manner.This academy strives to remove roadblocks for a more efficient working of the concerned systems.
The resource persons consist of renowned professors, judges, senior officers from navy and maritime forces from India and abroad. The confirmed speakers are Mr. H P Rajan (Deputy Director, United Nation Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea), Prof. Bimal N Patel (Director GNLU), Dr. Vijay Sakhuja (Director, National Maritime Foundation), and Dr. Prabhakaran Paleri (Ex. DG Coast Guard). Similarly the target audience for the academy are practitioners, scholars but mainly senior officers of navy, coast guard, paramilitary forces and state police.
