GNLU Indian Business & Commercial Laws Academy (GIBCLA) offers summer course on 'Indian Business & Commercial Laws' for GIBCLA Summer School 2015

In continuation to GNLU’s academic tradition of excellence and innovation and to take GNLU classrooms beyond national boundaries, GNLU Indian Business & Commercial Laws Academy (GIBCLA) is offering its – summer course on ‘Indian Business & Commercial Laws’ for GIBCLA Summer School 2015.
GIBCLA Summer School 2015 will provide a unique opportunity for young and dynamic students of different nationalities to intellectually explore the Indian legal business-commercial environment and experience cultural enrichment through an intensive three weeks academic course. The participants will experience the extraordinary environment of GNLU academics, resources, and residential life. The remarkable resources of the University from distinguished faculty to resource rich library will improve the inter culture understanding of national and international laws regulating the business and commercial activity.
The GIBCLA Summer School 2015 will be conducting this course at GNLU campus, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. The interactive but faculty oriented course will be a unique space for learning and collaborating knowledge to encourage and inspire new thinking.

Aim:

  • The aim of Indian Business & Commercial Laws (IBCL) course is to establish a broad and complete foundation of knowledge of the Indian Laws and Rules governing the various aspects of Business and Commercial activity.
  • The Course will enable the students to expand their horizons and open up their mind academically and culturally to meet the challenges of today’s globalizing world.

 

Course Content:

The course framework covering the key components are as follows:

  • Laws of Governance in India
  • Indian Contract : Laws and Practices
  • Indian Corporate Laws
  • Infrastructure Laws
  • Investment Laws
  • Taxation Laws
  • Dispute Settlement Mechanisms

 

Course Structure:

IBCL course is a full-time, intensive programme, consisting of 45 contact hours over the three week period, generally taking the form of 36 hours of lectures and 9 hours of tutorials

Eligibility:

Summer School is open for students pursuing graduate and post graduate studies in law and allied disciplines.
Duration: 6 July to 26 July, 2015
Intake: Minimum: 10 ; Maximum: 40

Fee Structure:

Foreign Nations: 500 USD
SAARC Nationals: 300 USD
Indian Nationals: 15,000 INR
