The Second International Conference on Contemporary Debates on Public Policy and Management invites contributions that focus on emerging policy challenges—including those that have generated lively public and scholarly debates in recent times in India and beyond—e.g. policies for boosting domestic manufacturing output and employment, management of natural resources and resolution of conflicts over them, policies to reap the demographic dividend in developing countries like India including public health and education policies, labor market reforms, social insurance and informal sector, management of rapid urbanization and domestic macro policies in the post-recession international economic order, among others. Scholarly works on public policy and management from all disciplines are invited—including theoretical papers, case studies, historical studies, econometric work, ethnography, survey-based studies, experimental work and others.
The suggested themes for the paper include:

- Community, state and market
- Decentralization, democracy and development
