National Seminar on “Information Technology and Law – Issues, Concerns & Challenges”. Department of Law Osmania University, Hyderabad

Department of Law Osmania University, Hyderabad is going to organize the National Seminar on “Information Technology and Law – Issues, Concerns & Challenges”.
Date of the Event: 23rd – 24th April, 2016

Sub-Themes:
Well researched papers on the main theme of the seminar are called for presentation in the technical sessions of the seminar. The sub-themes of the seminar (not limited to) are:

• Jurisprudential dimensions of Cyberspace
• Cyber security and laws of India and other countries
• Legal regime of Online Transactions
• Role of Media vis-a-vis Consumer’s Rights
• Legal protections to Consumers in Online Business Transactions
• Information Technology Act, 2000 and Online Transactions
• Investigation of cybercrimes – issues and concerns
• Evidentiary issues in the area of cyber security
• E-Governance and cyber security concerns
• Human Rights and cyberspace use and misuse
• Judicial Response to cyber security
• Cybercrimes

The above sub-themes, however, are illustrative nature and the participant can present a paper on any topic related to the main theme.

Guidelines for Paper Submission:

• Abstract Submission:
  An abstract should be sent on or before 10th April, 2016 with not more than 250 words accompanied with a covering letter containing Title of the Paper, Full Name of the Author / Authors, Complete Address with Contact Number, and E-mail Address must be submitted as attachment via email to [email protected]

The text of the abstract must be in-MS Word Format with Times New Roman, Font of Size 12 with 1.5 Line Spacing.
• Abstract must be accompanied with key words.
• Selected Abstract of the papers will be published in the book of Abstracts.

 

• Final Paper Submission:
  • Full papers will be accepted on or before 20th April, 2016 with not more than 6000 words in MS Word, Font Size 12 with 1.5 Space. Selected full papers will be published in a Book form with ISBN.
  • All submissions (Abstract & Final Paper) for the Seminar must be send as attachment to uclouitl6@gmail

    • Research Scholars / Students: Rs. 1000/-
