Balika Vadhu actor Pratyusha Banerjee commits suicide

Actress Pratyusha Banerjee most remembered as Anandi from Balika Vadhu is no more. She reportedly committed suicide at her residence on Friday morning. She was only 24.
According to a report in , the actress had attempted suicide in her house earlier on Friday by hanging herself. She was rushed to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai’s suburban Andheri where she was pronounced dead.
Pratyusha became immensely popular after she played the role of Anandi in Balika Vadhu after the show took its first leap. Later, she quit the show and participated in Bigg Boss 7. She was recently seen in ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ on Colors.
