E-rickshaws get legal status on city roads.

In Dehradun after months of wait the regional transport corporation finally on Wednesday granted permits to seven e-rickshaw applicants.
It finally became the legal mode of transport of the city. Efforts are on to introduce these economic mode of transport for longer period of time in the state, the e-rickshaw models are priced at Rs.10 lakhs and can carry only 4 passengers and luggage only up to 40 kgs.
The additional transport commissioner said that their enforcement squad will conduct the check on regular basis.
