Samvaad is a novel initiative by the Model Governance Foundation, a non-partisan, non-profit, and non-political organization working for national integration, communal harmony and inclusive development. Our key areas of intervention are administrative reforms, education, environment, healthcare, legal reforms, skill development and women empowerment. We organize events, conduct research and provide consultancy on key issues in governance, public policy and law.
Samvaad endeavours to initiate an enlightening discourse amongst the youth from across the country in the presence distinguished stalwarts from the fields of politics, business, academia, entertainment, journalism and sports. Samvaad aims to provide a platform for intellectual exchange of ideas from the brightest minds to arrive at potential solutions to the perpetual issues of communal tensions and women security. The event aims to mark a step towards realising the thematic idea of “Ek Bharat, Shreshth Bharat”. We would be focussing the dialogue on mainly two issues- “Uniform Civil Code” and the “Misuse of Sexual Harassment Laws”.
This three day event, scheduled to be held from 26th –28th June, 2015 in Delhi-NCRwill witness eminent personalities engage in an extensive dialogue with students, social entrepreneurs, non-profit professionals, philanthropists, policymakers and other interested participants in the field of law and public policy.
