TRAI to scrap cap of 3 call drops for telco penalty

TRAI appears before the bench and accuses telecom companies for the call drop problems faced by the customers. Around 800 crores of outgoing calls drop in a year, most of them due to faults by the service providers. They are pocketing all profits and not investing money in providing infrastructure.
TRAI had on October,2015 said that the telecom companies will be liable to compensate Rs.1 for every 3 call drops.
Hinting to the current problem TRAI would do away with the cap on compensating at 3 calls a day and soon impose compensation on every single call-drop.
