Uttarakhand under the President's Rule

The Central Scientific Research Laboratory, Chandigarh, has reportedly confirmed the authenticity of the CD purportedly showing former CM of Uttarakhand offering money and positions to win back rebel Congress MLAs.
On the ground of  the “breakdown of Constitutional machinery”, the President’s Rule is imposed in Uttarakhand on March 27th just a day before the Harish Rawat government was to face a crucial ‘trust vote’ in the assembly on Monday.
Reacting to the strong imposition of President’s Rule, Harish Rawat said : BJP government was always “after my government’s blood”.
Uttarakhand assembly speaker Govind Singh Kunjwal disqualified nine rebel Congress MLAs from the House under anti-defection law, hours after the state was brought under President’s Rule.
The Congress will move to the Nainital High Court challenging the Centre’s decision.
