Along with the warning for health, the tobacco packs and alcohol bottles must now contain warning that giving and selling intoxicants to a child is a punishable offense which may attract a rigorous punishment of 7 years and fine.
According to the Draft rules of the Juvenile Justice Act, 2015 , it is mandatory to ensure that there tobacco and liquor products should not be sold within 200 meters of child care institutions or Juvenile Justice Board Office.
