Law Mantra is an Online Journal and Web Portal, under the chief patron of Hon. Justice K.N Saikia, Former Judge Supreme Court of India, Dr. Hon. Justice Malimath, Former Chief Justice Karnataka and Kerala High Court, Dr. (Prof.) M.P.Singh, Chancellor Central University Haryana, Dr. Prof. Gurjeet Singh, Founder Vice-Chancellor N.L.U.J.A Assam, Prof. (Dr.) Faizan Mustaffa, V.C NALSAR Hyderabad, and other luminaries from the legal fraternity.
Law Mantra is running for the purpose of enhancing legal academics and legal awareness in the society and in the practice of the same. Law mantra also has an ISSN(2321-6417) Online Journal and Print Journal in the name of International Journal of Legal Research and Governance which tries to disseminate knowledge and research in various aspects of law. This website offers legal professionals and legal aspirants to bring forward their views and ideas through high level of research and get acknowledged in front of masses. This also includes Blog writing, Articles, Essay, Case notes and others literary works.
We, at Law Mantra, believe that change cannot happen without active participation of youth. Hence, we create opportunity for young college-going students.
Position: Blog writer
Responsibilities: As a blog writer, your responsibilities would include:
- Simplifying complex Indian laws in the form of blog posts: The writer must ensure the originality of the blog post. Copy-pasting from other websites is strictly barred and would amount to termination of the contract. The writing must be interesting, factually correct and free from grammatical errors. The main aim would be to provide readers with a clear view of any particular law in force. Posts are to be made on Criminal Law, Family Law, Law of Torts, Human Rights or Mercantile Law.
- Writing a minimum of 2-3 blog posts per week for posting on our website.
Work Description: Online work (from home) for around 6-7 hours a week.
Qualifications: Students pursuing LL.B, B.A LL.B, who have a good command of traditional rules of grammar, sentence structure, punctuation and usage of the English language. A natural flair for writing and explaining complex matters in simple words is a must-have!
Benefits and Remuneration: It is important to note that the nature of your work will be ‘voluntary contribution’ and you will not be given remuneration for the same. We will provide you with a work Experience Certificate at the end of your term i.e. Minimum period of 1 year, an opportunity of free publication in Law Mantra Online Journal as well as Print Journal, a Letter of Recommendation from our CEO and free courses information.
Note: Position will be on a contractual basis and person appointed can be removed from the post without notice, if work found unsatisfactory.
